Managing Organizational Transitions

Change is everywhere today, and both organizations and individuals need to be able to manage it to survive. Much of the assistance that is available, however, does not address the human issues that (even in the organizational realm) are the most difficult ones to manage.
To deal with these issues requires an understanding of the three-phase transition process, which starts with an ending, goes through a neutral zone, and finishes with a new beginning.
Managing Organizational Transition is a 4-hour interactive course for managers of people and projects. The many individual and team activities will stimulate interest and reinforce key concepts that students can apply right away.
Learning Objectives:

  • Discover the critical difference between change and transition, and understand the different methods for managing them.
  • Create effective strategies to help your people through The Endings, The Neutral Zone, and The Beginnings of transition.

Create an action plan for an actual change in your organization.
